Double Chocolate Chewies

Day 2

Ingredients

  • 240 grams of powdered sugar
  • 60 grams of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 grams of salt
  • 4 egg whites
  • 6 milliliters of vanilla extract
  • 180 grams of semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F
  2. Sift together the powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and salt
  3. Beat egg whites one at a time into the sugar mixture on high. Beat for about 4 minutes until there is a brownie-like dough. If the dough does not stiffen while mixing, cover and freeze for 20 minutes.
  4. Beat in the vanilla
  5. Stir in the chocolate chips
  6. Line your baking sheets with parchment paper and portion the dough on them
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the tops are barely firm to the touch and have not begun to darken
